HUMANKIND Map Editor

I really enjoy editing and making maps when I can, so when I got and saw that HUMANKIND had its own editor, I decided to make a map. So I took a map I had made for a D&D game and went about implementing it into HUMANKIND.

Mockery in the Black

Mockery in the Black is a game I am currently working on as both the UR and Level designer. The game is a first-person horror game, and I have spent most of my time on it so far working on its levels but moving closer to the latter half of production and post-production; I plan on focusing on UR when the level is completed. 

Drone Swarm Raid

For one of my classes, I was tasked with making a game over the course of a few months. I finished up what was wanted for the class in terms of the game, but I feel that it could be improved with proper feedback and data on its issues. So I've decided to have the game tested, and with the data and responses, write up a plan to work on and what needs to be done to it.

Who am I

Hey, thanks for checking out my portfolio; my name's Christopher Cassidy but just call me Chris. I'm a UR & Level Designer, and while I feel that I am good at both of these things, I still appreciate and encourage feedback so that I can learn more and improve my understanding of both UR and Level Design. As for why I'm where I am, I got into games when I was young and fell in love with them, Halo being one of the first games I played, but my favorites quickly became the RTS genera and strategy games in general. From there, I knew I wanted to make games and work on the types of games like the strategy games I enjoyed playing to expand their enjoyment and create games people around the world can enjoy. I enjoy making and doing things that make people happy, and if I can make people happy making games I love, that's amazing.
